Nice. I like it. Too bad the company that was supposed to build it went tits up. Now we get a hole in the ground filled with a stagnant pond (now frozen but still ugly!). But that building would have had great sightlines down de Maisonneuve and St-Laurent.

whoa, whoa ... hang on...

this rendering of the SLEB 2 is not something we've seen before. it's totally different from the previous renderings that were posted a year or two ago. where's this new rendering from? is it a new design for the revival of the project after the insolvency proceedings are completed??

note that the rendering includes the "re-built" Saint Laurent Blvd storefronts that the developers promised to preserve, but then proceeded to completely demolish before the project went into default...

MTL514, i'm pretty sure someone mentionned some months ago that another promoter took over the project to complet it.

Too bad we don't have the search option

Malek Do you talk about the article in La Presse, about the uncompleted projects of Montréal?

The article just say that they wait for a new big investor.

Exclamation Le Solano

Il s'agit d'une correction. L'architecte du projet Le Solano est CHRISTIAN THIFFAULT ARCHITECTE et non pas DCYSM. Merci d'en prendre bonne note.

The architect of Le Solano Building is CHRISTIAN THIFFAULT ARCHITECTE, not DCYSM. Thank you.

exactly, after the insolvency proceedings are complete, a new investor was supposed to be resuming the project

so my question still remains, is this a new rendering from the investor who is taking over the project? or is this just an old preliminary rendering that somebody dug up from a long time ago? because I don't remember ever seeing it before.

but I like it

It's just a render like another, but nobody saw it. We have to ask the question to booboohome.

Les rendus du 400, qui sait d'où ils proviennent?
J'aimerais mettre Emporis à jour.

I walk past the John Molson building sight almost everyday. I even had to do a site analysis and rendering for a hypothetical plan for the sight and I had no idea the building was under construction.

Sure that digger wasn't just taking a shortcut from the intersection to another building site?

This thing is beside the bank of Montreal building correct? I can see it from my window. It's not very impressive.

This is a great thread, the only thing that I disagree about is the percentage of people who speak French in Quebec. It's higher than 86% because many of the Anglo's and Allophones (people who don't speak french or english as a first langauge) will know how to speak French.
