Me too but unfortunately the NFL for some reason has been putting a dark filter on skyline shots this year during Sunday nite games! Fingers crossed tho. I'm more interested in seeing Nema peak over Soldiers Field!

This building is quite large at the bottom but only one third as large at the top. Its total floor area of 1,414,378 sq ft is roughly half of John Hancock Center's, and just under a third of Sears/Willis Tower's. Not bashing Vista, just saying that several other buildings in Chicago are even more of a "beast".

Understood! BTW I just noticed that Vista's roof height of 1199 ft almost matches the Empire State Building's 1250 ft. Too bad Jeanne Gang wasn't interested in adding just 5 floors or a spire to surpass the ESB in height. Perhaps beating Trump Chicago's roof height by 28 ft was good enough for her!

For a building with zero office though you have to realize it's a monster. By far the biggest in the city when you look at it that way

Trump Tower has nearly twice the floor area. Aqua even has more floor area. I am not exactly sure how you can make that claim.

I wasn't sure how it would look when I knew the glass wouldn't line up like a curtain wall, but I'm loving the jagged edge look. Will be mesmerizing from below!

Nice shots. I just realized that the horozontal ledges and the shadows that they produce will be visible only on the lower portion of each frustom when looking up at the tower. This is going to enhance the visual difference even more between the peaks and valleys in addition to the color variation.

I think the staggering of the glass (as being built) is much more interesting than if they slanted the glass. It looks great.
