Oklahoma City is the 27th largest city in the United States by population (644,000) and is the largest city of the Oklahoma City-Shawnee Combined Statistical Area (1,460,000) in Oklahoma.
This thread will focus on a variety of features in Downtown Oklahoma City, although it is not a comprehensive tour. I am including smaller scale buildings from the Automobile Alley which lies adjacent to the North of downtown.

I got a speeding ticket on my Bicycle in OKC. I had a Massachusetts License so they took me to jail until I could secure bond (pay the fine). $250. I raced the next day and kicked ass. Won the race and all the preems. I broke the speed limit pretty much the whole race route just for good measure.

Devron Energy building is a beautiful design, although the height of it dwarfs the rest of downtown OKC. Still it’s a building you can easily picture in New York or LA. But now when you see that building it defines OKC.

The majority of art deco in Oklahoma City's downtown is shown in this thread so it is not particularly extensive beyond this. However Oklahoma's second city, Tulsa, has quite a bit more and in a greater concentration. I am working on editing my photos of Tulsa from the same trip and will post them in a new thread.

Thank you, yes the Devon skyscraper is dominant...I should have looked in a tourist shop to see if the tower features prominently on any souvenirs!
Here are some additional photos; these are from Bricktown, a district adjacent to downtown located across the railroad right-of-way. An urban canal runs through part of the bustling area and acts as an attraction in itself.
Oklahoma Centennial Land Run Monument:
This monumental 45-piece statuary group is located near the end of the canal in parkland adjacent to Bricktown.
Connected to Bricktown by a small canal and walkway, this area sits along the Oklahoma River and is a center for watersports and 'adventure' experiences, housed in facilities designed with a uniform style.
