I love this part of Georgia; I always thought it had a strange, yet beautiful atmosphere, somewhat mysterious. It feels very isolated from the rest of the country, despite being between Jacksonville and Savannah. I went to Jekyll Island for my high school's senior class trip, and we felt like we'd entered another world. Looks like it could use an economic boost, though: while there we drove down a long road that was lined almost entirely with abandoned buildings.

I think the same thing. I’d like to be in St. Simons Island.

Nice pictures! Brunswick looks like a smaller version of Savannah, or maybe a little bit of Charleston in there too.

however, oldens need healthcare.

thats why i say more practically speaking athens over brunswick. i was guessing university of georgia has a medical school there.

neat. i shipped my car to there when i moved from Germany; sadly it got delayed by a blizzard in NYC and work sent me back to Germany so my wife picked it up from the port for me and i missed visiting there. now i need to go back.
