6 people found dead at Southwest Side home

Six people were found dead at a Gage Park home Thursday afternoon, and police were conducting a homicide investigation, authorities said.

A source said the dead included four men, a female and a child.

Unless I missed something, I believe 3 of those 4 were not in Toronto. One in Brampton, 1 in Mississauga, and 1 in Woodbridge. The 4th was in the east end of the city. Those first 3 won't be included in the city murder stats.

Correct. The one in Toronto brings this year's total to 11 in the city.

Still, not a propitious first 5 weeks. As we know, however, for some reason murders here tend to come in spates, waves, so hopefully we'll now have a few weeks of quiet to countervail the latest rash of murders.

Wow, what's going on in Memphis? Good god.

Anyways, as of the 8th, Atlanta is at 7, down from last year. All crime except Non-residential burglary is down from the last year so a somewhat decent start for Atlanta.
