That's good to know. I didn't realize there was any separate property between the two projects. In that case, it's a good location for a food trailer park.

They are getting ready to feed all the hungry workers on either side of that property.

There hasn't been much talk on 99 Trinity. This'll be taller than the Fairmont penthouse! Any news on this one?

Nothing official yet. If they do plan on starting construction by the end of this year, or beginning of next, we should be hearing something soon.

Does this tower have financing in place? I cannot remember nor have the time to search through older posts.

Thanks in advance...

So, groundbreaking already happened in June. I'm reminded of the religious cult I belonged to as a teen in the 1970s. We had "prophets" and they offered prophesies about a lot of things that didn't happen. The way we handled the cognitive dissonance was that we claimed that the prophesies had come true in the spiritual realm but had not yet manifested in the physical. Neat trick!

So 99 Trinity has already broken ground, but it hasn't manifested in the physical realm yet. Maybe we should add a new category, U/C-ITSR

The Statesman article with the announcement of this project one year ago this past Thursday quotes the World Class Capitol Rep saying financing was lined up. A PDF of the article is still in the News section of WCC's website:

I'm still waiting for the Colorado to manifest in the physical realm. I anticipate that will happen when the lights come on, finally.

I remember going to the "lighting ceremony" for the Frost Bank Tower with my brother and his girlfriend. I remember we bumped into Mopacs from the forum. It's hard to believe that was 10 years ago.

From Friday. A site plan withdraw and resubmittal filing. So I'm guessing this means the final approved and released version will be available soon.

The new site plan was CC approved yesterday. We should be seeing the approved and released site plan very soon. This has been a "late 2014" start project for a long time, and it doesn't seem to be off track.

Yes indeed. We all watched from Auditorium shores. I was truly in awe. I believe next month it will be 11 years ago. Crazy how time flies and how much the skyline has changed since then.

According to this, construction is supposed to start before the end of this year. I have my doubts. If anything it will be January before we see anything happen but I hope I'm wrong.

The city's Emerging Projects list has this starting in mid-2015. That's new info.

R92 99 Trinity Tower
World Class Capital Group, an Austin-based investment and
asset management firm, has purchased a 1-acre tract across
Trinity Street from the Four Seasons Residences. The applicant
is proposing to construct a 39-story, 360-unit multifamily building
with a ground floor restaurant.
Start Construction: Mid 2015

New info dated yesterday is attached to the Site Plan. After glancing through it, the only real news seems to be that the date to clear comments was set for 01/12/15.
