Potsdamer platz reminds me of The Hague, really classy stone facades, Berlin will look amazing if they build their towers in this style, it's better than all the glass wall towers going up everywhere else in the world. On the subject of Germany, if I could pick two towers from Europe that I would love to have built in London it would be the commerzbank and messeturm, they're very tall (only Germany and UK have REAL tall towers in the EU, 250m+), they have fantastic designs, the messeturm starts out with a square shape base, then further up it forms into a circular shape as it rises, then it comes out at the top with a pyramid shape crown, really interesting tower to look at, unique, and it's got soar, real soar. The commerzbank is one of Norman fosters masterpieces, it is another tower with a complex shape and form and great cladding. The spanish tried to copy the design for one of their towers in Madrid, but it was more basic and simple looking and didn't come out as good as the commerzbank.
I do also love the city of capitols twin towers in Moscow, its a simple but attractive shape, great height and has a fantastic LED night lighting. But when it comes to my favourite towers in Europe, it's definitely the shard and leadenhall towers in London, perfect beauty, beautifull shape, insanely expensive materials, (worth it) incredible quality, best cladding I've ever seen and completely unique towers.
