If you take away the lattice element, extend the platform the JW sign is attached to, and add a couple of floors, add on a spire, then at night, it would look like the Fairmont viewed from the east. Width, height, orientation, virtually mirrors, right down to the hallway windows down the center of the building's south end. While I like both buildings, they are going to look very simular, especially at night.

Well. at least the two hotel buildings are going to be at a right angle to each other and a few blocks apart.

The signage is now up for the restaurant on the corner of 2nd and Brazos. It's an Italian place called Osteria Pronto.
