I don't like the antennas on top of the black building but that round building looks great. Reminds me of the St. Regis Mexico. What is it? Hotel? Condos? Office? Mixed?

That red building looks great, reminds me of CNA Plaza North in Chicago:

You have some of the coolest renders ever. I love how you put those lights on the towers like real life. The port looks great in the distance.

Is that a GE Building look-alike in there?

Aleks, I thought the same thing about Verticalextropy's red building. It's a realy tall CNA Plz!! haha.

The red building WAS specifically inspired by CNA plaza! I was looking at pictures of a an "Above Chcago" book I have back when the city was all 70s.

Peter I put SOME lights in buildings, but renders take longer. But i'm aiming at taking some night sots anytime soon.

Well that was a good "pop up." Haha, get it. Cause pop ups are usually annoying but this one isn't and you said it's a pop up.

Anyways, I like it. Keep it. Looks to me more like the tall tower is residential and the little ones are hotels.

That's a hot skyline. I suggest you start making lowrises now and spreading the city outwards.

Looks great, but yeah, I think you should start building outwards and making some low-rises. I also noticed you made some small towers near Bauen. They look great but maybe Bauen should be moved to the waterfront cause it's a very nice building.

thanks I wanted to achieve some density first for the hotshots, then work on the overall plan which includes the lowrises.
I'm deciding on the harbor, highways and a bridge, now, I'll post a map, later.

I am 110% impressed. What a surprise to come home to. You did an excellent job with the port. It screams realsim, as does the skyline. I love the diverse architecture. Very well planned and carried out.

I hope this city is here to stay because I love it.

Thank you Dac! I missed your advice on realism while you were gone, so it's a nice surprise for me too that you found my work compelling.
I'm back to college and it's getting heavier and heavier as I try to earn a "year-out" in a normal country university next year, but I am committed to this city, so not just the blimp is here to stay.

This is truly one of the best cities here. Very high in detail and as dac said "it screams realism"

Thank you vertical, I appreciate it. Yeah, college can get heavy, and for me right now we are entering into final exams, so the bar is rising pretty quick and high. It has gotten to the point where I had to put off sketch-up until school finishes up for the year.

HOLY GEES! That pier is HUGE! Bigger than downtown! Or does it just look that way?

I like that curved building in the waterfront and for some reason this city reminds me of a modern 1930's. Like NY with LA, except there are no old skyscrapers. Well, there are old looking ones but with modern facades.

WOW that port looks great, Aleks, ports are supposed to be that huge, and if your taking about the breakwater, thats not a pier, I think.

The Container Pier's 8200 x 2200 feet.
The Breakater is still temporary and will eventually hug the yatch marina. For now I'll be working on the oil terminal anytime soon.
