Jimby, is that your cat? What a cool cat. My kitty would be hissing and run inside.

My sweet little calico, Mojave! Adorable, isn't she?

Glowrock--you have a Bengal? Me too--her name is Maharet (actually, it's officially KitzNKatz Maharet), which is an Anne Rice reference to those who've never read her vampire novels. She's a slut:

In one of her favorite spots:

Yep, I've got a Bengal, BTinSF. Bulu's just the black/grey/white, while obviously yours is more of the golden color... Is Maharet more of a dog than a cat as well? Bulu loves to jump up into my lap, he like to play fetch, and loves to get petted. Only sometimes does he revert back to cat-dom and pretend he's actually a cat! Hahaha

OMG Bulu's so cute! I've wanted a Bengal for so long!

And a Great Dane. I love big animals. I hate those little dogs that never shut up. I just wanna kick them. Not really, but they're annoying as hell.

How many Taco Bell tacos can you make from one yippy yappy chihuahua?

Yup. She fetches and she's the most vocal cat I've ever encountered. We have lots of conversations. At night, when I'm in bed, she comes up near my head and demands that I raise up the sheet/blanket so she can crawl under and get petted while she "kneeds" my stomach.

SF I'm pretty sure. In SF I have an apartment on 2 levels and one of the bedrooms has a big west-facing window with a convertible sofa in it (I use it as a combo office/guest room). Maharet pretty much has made the back of that sofa, where the sun hits most of every afternoon, her spot where she sleeps all afternoon and evening (so she can be awake harrasing me all night). But she also likes to run up and down the stairs. And there is a straight shot between the bedrooms where she can get up some speed too. Finally, the SF place has wall to wall carpet which gives her plenty of traction.

My Tucson place has roof overhangs that keep out most of the sun (except for a little bit that comes in the master bedroom window and hits the bed which is where you'll find her in the afternoons in Tucson). It's also all on one level so no stairs for exercise. And there are tile floors which means lots of slipping and sliding when trying to run. I do have a walled outdoor patio there where she can explore a little bit of nature and a screened porch where she can at least smell it when the weather's warm enough to leave the sliding door open, but I have to go out and guard her on the patio from the neighborhood wildlife: hawks, rattlers, even coyotes. So she can't be out there alone and that limits the amount of time she gets outside. The best deal for her about Tucson is a luxury cat box:
