Looks just like a cat I had once . A cat named "Puss"

FeLIX is adapting well to apartment life in Calgary after a carefree outdoor life on the westcoast.
He jumps up on the 2" wide balcony railing to get to the far end of the building which is 5 apartments away. We're on the 6th floor, but I'm confidant in his athletic balancing skills. However, birds might cause him to leap, but I hope not! I know of a cat who survived 2 falls from this floor.

I found FeLIX waiting for dinner in the catfood cupboard:

I've got a cat who's lived in an apartment with a balcony 3 stories up, and now one in a house with a balcony on the 2nd floor. Never has she tried jumping down. Same with my neighbor's cats, also just on the 2nd floor. I think they only try jumping that far if they're desperate.

There used to be a cat on the 6 floor (where I live) that landed on the lawn down below twice. I don't know if he leapt to grab a bird or lost his balance on the narrow railing.
After the cat fell the first time, his human who saw him go over, sat down and cried her eyes out. Then there was a knock at the door and the resident manager had the cat which he had found wandering around outside the front door of the building uninjured.
There was a calico cat who lived on this floor who lived to be 29. I don't think she ever jumped over!

too bad they don't have the documentation to prove it - like vet records from birth.

Classic photos of cats doing what cats do, namely finding every soft comfortable space for them to lay around and sleep in and on! I swear, we don't own our cats, they own US!

FeLiX climbs up the wire grid so he can walk on the 2" wide railing. I'm so glad he is smart enough not to just leap up (and over!).

My neighbour at the other end of the building felt she was being stared at in her living room and she was - FeLiX was looking in the window at her. At least he stays on the 6th floor and doesn't climb up and down the building.

Typical cats. As they say, if you want the most comfortable seat in the house, you will have to move the cat.
