TAZ's World - Tempe, AZ: Part II (50 photos)

OK, for those who are left thinking, "There was a part I?" Well, it can be found here.

Now, with that formality over; on to part 2.

A popular little neighborhood bar n grill to hang out

Nothing like starting out the day right with beer and eggs. The sign outside of the bar pictured above read:

The Vue (the building in the foreground) - apartments under construction

The next four photos are examples of light rail station art from various stops:

Tempe Transit Center

The next four photos are night shots taken from around the transit center:

Moving on:

I see tourists:

The girls form the Library below are much hotter than the Hooters girls above IMO.

Speaking of college, the next few are from around the ASU Main campus in Tempe:

and finally:

That's all.

Great photos. I take Tempe for granted since I've been in the Phoenix area so long but your pictures make it look like a pretty cool place to be.

Really great photos. It's always nice to see photos of (Phoenix area) places not on regular rotation. Gives fresh perspectives.

Agreed 100%. Is there a straight male that finds the Hooters outfits attractive? Panty hose, big hair and scrunchy socks, bleck! Its straight out of 1986, "The Library" girls are much better looking and the outfits are much more whoreish/tremendous.

LOL - exactly

Thanks for the comments everyone. I think I will do one more photo thread for Tempe, then that will be it for awhile. I am probably going to hit up some of the historic neighborhoods around the downtown area, and maybe some more shots from ASU. There are some really cool looking buildings on campus that I would like to capture, and then there are some that I wouldn't even poke with a long stick.

It's called Suite 301 now, but I hear it's pretty much the same.

/\It's the same as it has been for the last few years, but much different than when it was the Owl's Nest. The Owl's Nest, when I was in school there, was always packed... and if you got there earlier in the afternoon they had $1 pints (of any of their 20+ draught beers) and free pool. At night they'd move the pool table. Now, Suite 301 is more "upscale" and crappier, but they did put in that pretty sweet rooftop patio.

Anyway, great photos TAZ! Keep up the good work. I really like all of the pictures and different views.

Nice area. It seems to be quite active.

I think this guy is in big trouble if his girlfriend happens to run across this thread!!

Nice pics. How long does it take to ride the LRT from downtown Phoenix to downtown Tempe?

20-30 minutes depending on how well the LRT hits the lights and other variables. About the same as driving really.
