This is fantastic news despite the proposed locale. ABQ could sure benefit from a few more "towers" to distinguish our skyline. I actually think something like this would work at Paseo and I-25/Jefferson (i.e. Journal Center) but downtown and uptown would be my first first and second choices as well. On a side note, I just returned home for the summer and noticed a new "mid-rise" being erected adjacent to the Marriott in Uptown. Does anybody know what this is? Thanks in advance and lets keep our fingers crossed about this new development.

It's a seven story hotel going up Stupac.
Man I sure do hope this happens for our city. I still have my fingers crossed for that new stadium/hotel being talked about for downtown also.
