Westminster Ponds Centre

This is a big first step to reclaiming this 800 acre parcel of land and redeveloping it into something really special.

Let's hope the city has some vision for what this can be 50 or 100 years from now and not mess it up.

All these are great ideas:

POTENTIAL CENTRE ACTIVITIES

Children’s outdoor education

Ecological education

Mental health walks and counselling

Environmental non-profit offices

Demonstration of green energy generation

Promotion of the veterans’ history

Information centre for London’s natural heritage system

Post-secondary research on urban natural areas

Visiting here today saw a beautiful coyote hunting mice along Western Counties Rd. Deer tracks in the mud along the pond trail. A wonderful natural area of the city of London.
