Thanks cybele, I try . Yes, cabasse it's a great little camera (i went with the classic silver). I agree on manual thing, i've lost a couple of perfect shots due to it's lack but I make the best of what I've got.

Any of you on flickr? My contribution for today (the obligatory Midtown Skyline from Piedmont shot)

I absolutely love the above shot, DSGB. You seldom see the midtown/downtown skylines from this angle. Where in Buckhead were you? Good job!

hehe, i actually had that bookmarked as a favorite maybe to post in the found city photos thread...

i'm guessing it was probably taken from the jw marriott; here's one on panoramio from wider angle that's got the location marked

I like that picture a lot.

Too bad OSHA had to go and mess up so many great photo ops. Those old Charles Ebbets photos were cool.

Nice find cabasse but we prefer it being called "Cumberland/Vinings" since Houston's Galleria district is more well known. Anywho... I just took some photos in the Cumberland area over the weekend. Here's one...

The Highest Point in the core Metro Atlanta region, at least 2,040 ft. ASL.

P.S. No Tripod used for this capture.

Thanks!

I'll try to get one facing another direction next time. It was foggy that night, too, so maybe the next ones will be a bit less fuzzy.

Hybrid I really like the way you have the fountain lined up with the corner of the building and the reflections in the lake.

PedestriAnne, that is a super picture of downtown. You were sure way up there!

Thanks to our photographers!
