Probably not for a while. You have wait for a while. Give it a time. Please be patient!

thanks kznyc2k . .
I love the charming little old building-top flourishes . .
that you captured up there in Washington Heights.
The distant 432 Park in Midtown looks austerely great without any flourishes . .
'cause - with its big grid and hper-skinny silhouette rising so tall . .
it nails that modernistic boxy-shape without hesitation.
Very fine diverse architectural juxtaposition photo contribution.

If you want to true appreciation of the height then stand directly beneath it - it's unreal! ^^^That's an awesome shot!

If this tower was built in the UK, it would have won the Carbuncle Prize. it's such a monstrosity and a banal omnipresent eyesore . LOL! The same architect actually won it with the Walkie Talkie too. What a coincidence

This tower is so elementary, even a YOUNG child could draw it. If it were built in London, the pitchforks would be out.

I'd be like the movie 28 weeks later over there. NIMBYS would just start biting everybody and the city would have to be quarantined.

# been playing to much "dying light" lately

I think we've gotten so use to 432 that without it, the skyline would suffer. It has added to it in every way. Just like the Shard adds to London.

Something tells me you're one of those people in art museums exclaiming "my 4-year old could do this painting"! As if the building would be more complex if you put a funny "hat" on top.

People are ragging on this thing like crazy because it is so boxy and simple but it kind of fills the void that was lost with the destruction of the World Trade Center. To bring back a huge rectangle that sticks out of the city in a sense is bringing back the New York that a lot of people remember when the Twin Towers existed.

It's a tall skyline shape, that's all. It should win the USA's Carbuncle Prize for design!

I like how the late afternoon/evening sun light shines through the voids of 432 Park ave as seen in kznyc2k's photo. Hopefully the night time lighting will happen as shown in the renderings.

Adding a "hat" on top would not help this building. It's beyond help really. A blight to the skyline.

The height in meters is 426, not 432 : to correct the title, please.

It almost looks like five levitating boxes. The form is basic, yes, but the gaps and the height are what make this building amazing.

For those that are complaining that it's a box. We used to have two, and they were beautiful.

Ooh nice pics ILNY...432 Park ave is very contemporary, with some hint of mid-century design baked in.
