Thank you very much for the comments! They're always appreciated.

Thanks! The highway is actually quite rough with minimum polygons. It only looks smooth from a distance.

Here's an update: A view looking southeast on West Ontario Avenue, the "main street" in Bourne. The tall Art Deco tower on the left is the New York Building. It was built for the New York Mutual insurance company in 1930. They still have their Bourne HQ in the building, but most of the building is rented out. The New York Building is 127 m / 417 ft tall and has 34 stories. It was the tallest building in Bourne from 1930 to 1975. Today it is the fourth tallest.

The white Beaux-Arts building in front of the New York Building is the City Hall and Administrations Building. It was completed in 1915 and is 61 m / 200 ft tall.

Stunning renders, like the diffused shadows on the buildings. Bourne is looking like a fine American city.

Thanks! Those trees are from Kerkythea model libraries and were added using the Instancing Brush tool. I have to say, it's a great Kerkythea feature!

City Hall Park after midnight. Looking towards the City Hall and the New York Building. Somebody's working really late up on the 32nd floor.

I like that NY Building, it looks pretty similar to the State Tower building in Syracuse:

I like the Architecture for the City, it really does fit the mold of Upstate NY Cities.

The next planned aerial is after I finish this second section and I'm not even half way there. Not much new to show yet.

Here's a view from inside the ABA Building.

Thanks for the comments, Patrick and Dac!

An update: The southeast corner of West Madison and Monroe streets is possibly the most underdeveloped lot in downtown Bourne. Currently a three-story building from the early 60’s is located there. It is owned by the VanAlen Banking Corporation and they have a bank branch at the first floor. The other two floors are currently vacant. Before the depression VanAlen was looking to replace the building with newer and bigger version – possibly a residential building as the lot is a bit small for an efficient office building – but those plans are now on hold. Btw. Bourne is set at summer of 2009. Maybe someday I’ll update, if I ever even finish all that I’ve planned.

For sheer beauty and detail Bourne cannot be beat. I admire your attention to detail as opposed to going for a massive scale. I so want to see some more renders. I like that art deco/1920s era block in the above shot.

Thanks! I like the detailed shots, but I also like massive scale aerials and skyline shots. I just don't have enough stuff for those yet. Hopefully someday I'll get there. I really want to see what kind of skyline Bourne will have.

Here's a shot from an office at the 20th floor of the New York Building. Looking southwest.

Thanks Flamesrule!

Here's a view looking northwest on West Jackson Street. The building with the twin towers is the Cambridge Place and the renassaince revival styled building behing it is the Oxford House. More of those buildings later.

I don't know why you don't get enough comments on here but this is my one of my favorite cities on here! It's very clean and I just love your renders!

Keep rendering!
