Detroit: Early 1960's

My grandfather took these from about 1959 to around 1964. The color has faded but I'm going to see about scanning them in a proper slide scanner.

Thanks for showing those. In a couple pics I had a hard time visualizing where the photographer was standing because of all the buildings that existed then but now are gone. I like the one looking towards Campus Martius on Monroe. I've only seen a few pics of it before but you can see the mini cadillac tower (forgot the real name) that has since been demolished.

Wow...the "Tunnel To Canada" pic looks so weird without the RenCen in the background let alone anything else...Makes Jefferson Ave look like a side street lol. Great pics!
