There is also a sign-up that one is moving onto The Arc on Pembina. Looks like they are giving Winnipeg another try.

Hope they can make a go of it, but with a name like Boujee I will likely make a point to not attend, as their target market will likely mean it will be overrun with wannabe influencers, ring lights, and the stench of cheap cologne.

Ugh I thought that Pearl building was going to be redeveloped. I’ll avoid it literally because it needs to stop being a single storey restaurant in such a prime main strip lot.

I see that the for lease sign has been removed from the former Tony Roma’s building on Regent. Anyone know if another restaurant is moving in?

I imagine a development plan is in the works - I'm sure that whoever owns isnt a fan of failing businesses in his spaces. How sweet would it be if a row of highrises on all those lots between between York and the provincial building popped up.

That's great to hear, beautiful building sitting empty for a long time.

Steve's Bistro on Portage Ave. (formerly Steve's Place) is now gone, replaced by Chacha Wow (East Indian)...

So Friskee Pearl is no more? That was quick. I went once and it as okay. I didn't go back, so that's telling I guess.

In other news, went to 529 Uptown yesterday. As expected. Fancy food lol It was a slight bit distracting being plopped in the 201 Portage lobby.
