I have not had the time to post in the last few days, but when I was working evenings last week the light bars were being tested on the outside of the parkade.

At first I thought I was looking are reflections off of the traffic signals on Ellice as they were red and green but then they went to another colour and started flashing then stopped.

Yeah they were on Sunday night, all blue.

The whole thing was lit? When I was coming home from work there were sections that were not lit so I guess they must be doing a commissioning test to get the led's to work properly

Even last week (Friday, I think) the whole thing was lit and flashing several different colours when I went by... it looked a bit like a test pattern of some sort. A bit cheesy as compared to the Marlborough's new white lights, but I guess anything goes in the wild and crazy SHED.

Hahaha, I agree. I hope it's just red and white like in the render.

That reminds me of the lighting on the Richardson Building, it looks so cheesy... however if it went up the entire tower, THAT would be cool.

Looks like Peg City Car Co-op has added their 18th car, and it is located in the Centreport parkade. (10th in Downtown/Broadway areas)

Seems like Stantec has made one of their parking spots available for it.

From the glasshouse website, you get a free car share membership with the condo purchase (much like District). I wonder if they'll add another car in the parkade once Glasshouse is complete.

Walked by Glasshouse today, the core is getting up there... it must be around the halfway point now (11 or 12 storeys). It's looking fairly substantial.

The Merchant Kitchen negotiated with the city to get a bumpout into the curb lane so the sidewalk will actually go out and around a fairly large patio. So there won't be a straight-thru curblane on that side of Donald anymore, it will go bus stop/loading> sidewalk> turning lane.

Wow I'm surprised they got approved to do this on such a busy route but I'm all for it!

I thought it was humorous that after all that time that Donald was down to 2-lanes, they finally take away the barricades and open in up...then a matter of weeks later, the barricades are back up for sidewalk work...

Seems like they could have scheduled that a bit better.

^ It wouldn't take all that much to fix it up on the outside, but the fact that it has been under-occupied for as long as I can remember means that Bernie Cheater is in no rush to sink a pile of money into the place.

With the MTS Centre on one side and Centrepoint on the other, I presume his goal now is, much like with the O'Calcutta owners, to just sit and wait until a redevelopment offer they can't refuse eventually crosses the transom. Might seem unlikely, but in 1999 when Eaton's closed, who would have thought that there would now be a new NHL arena and a chic hotel tower and condo tower on that block of Portage?

Yeah it's great. If I wasn't clear before, it's permanent — like that is the way the concrete is built, not just a removable deck that are (awesomely) popping up everywhere now.

I'm quite certain that as soon as that is done they will be resurfacing that road, so more closure to look forward to. The middle left lane (or temporary right one) is like a washboard, that strip from 370 Donald > Portage is a mess.

That's the nicest thing I've heard that strip being called lately

What's the pricing on these units?
How many are there in the whole building?

Some info I received back in April was they were 70% sold.

Prices range from $211,900 for a1 up to $335,900 for c5.
a2 units were sold out.

$45,00 for a covered parking spot, $38,500 for uncovered - Only available to b1 or larger owners.

39.5 cents psf for condo fees.

1-1.3% of sale price estimated property taxes
