I think it would be impossible for any major city not to have at least one shot like that and outsiders would probably never even get to know that picture exists

I understand, it's still just infuriating.

Can we please stop humiliating our city? They are laughing at us on the Edmonton construction thread where they posted this picture, and likely other cities are laughing at us as well.

Whats the big deal? Look at some of the first pictures we posted from street view...kinda the same thing. The fact that it happens in Winnipeg is like a 1/10 of what makes it funny. I'm sure that guy passed out in the box of that dodge has a cousin in Edmonton or Saskatoon passed out in an equally funny position. I'm doing my best to find it.

OK, I have to ask what ISN'T funny about this picture? Google streetview managed to catch some drunk idiot in the back of a ramshackle pick-up truck, complete with beer bottle in hand.

This picture would make me chuckle no matter what the "race" involved, or city it was filmed.

Humiliating? Really? Are we that insecure? You guys really need to lighten up. This kind of shit happens everywhere, including Edmonton. Have a laugh.

^ The current crop of Skyscraper forum Winnipeg members are thin skinned lot who lack a sense of humour, aside from 1ajs, Only the Lonely, archseek, True Viking, Biff, Justin L and yourself!

PS It's no wonder the long time forum members from Winnipeg no longer bother to post here, make a comment with this new group that they disagree with and they cry and try to demean you.

Yeesh! Just generalize the rest of us as humorless dicks then? I'm massively offended!

...In regards to the capture from streetview, I'm not sure why anybody would be that offended. What, you've never had a beer before in the bed of a pickup?

Doesn't look passed out to me - he looks like he has it all - relaxed (check), beer (check), ride to the bar (check), full belly (check). We used to get rides home from party's like that quite often. You have to stay low so the cops don't pull you over.

Come on rrskylar - where would Batman be without the Joker or Superman without Lex Luthor. Aren't we supposed to be arch enemies. We will never get our own comic book if we keep agreeing on things (i think we agreed on something else before as well). Just tell me where Christmas dinner is, I'll bring the cranberry sauce.
