it's over with a bunch of glass.. parts of river north are the issue but that has been improving lately

hopefully whatever is built on the parking lot at illinois and rush will have a little color

Excellent pics and i can't believe how fast this tower has climbed! I wouldn't be surprised if OBP is finished months ahead of time!

Does anyone know if some of the window panels will be painted a bronze color like the renderings? I though some of the precast around the windows was supposed to have a bronzed metal finish rather than a the precast beige color we are seeing throughout the entire facade.

20 or so but the ceiling height is higher on the upper floor condominiums so it still is going to gain some decent height.

I hope so. The facade is relentlessly monotonous. And the balance of positive and negative surfaces seems too equal. There's no emphasis on either delicateness or solidity, and it just looks like a matrix of squares with no clear visual trajectory. It could do with thinner, vertically oriented windows, but that would compromise the marketability of the units, I guess.

^At least that was deliberately uniform and geometric and not in conflict with another, primary design objective. I don't love the way that one ended up, though, either (windows needed to be recessed to express the frame more, IMO).
