Also for Bathurst, two breakfast franchises are looking hard to find franchisee in the city, Ben & Florentine and Pūr and Simple could begin setting up very soon in the city.
At this rate, we are soon going to run out of available space to set up the newcoming openings in the city. I would expect a new retail development to take place in the next year or two.
Also, took King George highway in Miramichi on my way back from Fredericton yesterday. There is a nice 3 story building in construction of what looks to be appartments in the Newcastle downtown area.
Land prep was underway for a piece of land across the road from Mcdonalds in Douglastown, no signs present indicating a project.
What looks to be a restaurant pad by the Shoppers in Douglastown looks completed but there is no sign indicating a tennant coming soon.

With a lower then majority Average Cash investment I don't see either finding it hard to find Franchisees.

All this is partly good news for Miramichi, and the Greater Miramichi reason. I do hope these comercial projects do have tenants in place, and if so that they do well.
An interesting transaction, piece of property on St Anne road in Bathurst sold last month. They are currently cutting the trees. Its the property next to The Brick.

City of Miramichi has finally approved a new Tim Hortons on the site of the old Ben's Lunchroom in downtown Chatham. There were concerns the drive through line would block traffic.

If this is the old building at the Corner of Water Street, and Cunard. I'd see there concerned, as the 2 are 1 way streets with parking on the side where there is available space. I would have thought a Better location to be at Duke, and University.

It will be where Water, Duke, and University meet. Where the original Ben's was, not the current Ben's.
New wood pellets production plant being built in Saint-Léonard, its an Irving branch building the plant, will be located next to the existing sawmill. 25 jobs are expected to be created.
