Those buildings on Central Park South aren't going anywhere.

This building looks amazing. I can't wait to see this on the skyline.

Can you imagine the prices they'll get for a tower of this caliber, at this location? This will smash all records.

Oh, and if this weren't enough, the NY Times has an article today of yet another tower planned for this corridor, along north side of 57th, between 5th and 6th. The skinny towers for the superrich just keep on coming.

This just moved on to be one of my favorite projects in the city, even better than 30 Park Place!

I think NYguys dreams came true. Funny, because yesterday I remember saying something like 99 Church street should be here. This tower is strikingly beutiful. Wow!

It's obviously very similar to 15 CPW. But it's even better, and will look just spectacular in this location.

Really the only negative I can think is that this will be so overshadowed by nearby much taller towers. But the north-facing park views will be forever.

That's the first thing I thought, I really hope that Extell monstrosity doesn't hover over that beauty.

The view facing the WTC looks unreal. Although they are lucky as they will probably have both. Not to mention that they will be able to see the ball drop (higher floors) while sipping wine.

Nobody does Central Park better than Stern.

The only elephant in the room is what will the Nordstrom tower do to this?

^ Sure did. We need a super-villain to move into that penthouse. I can't wait to take photos of this. It should also work nicely with 111 W. 57th as a NY classic.

The crown looks a lot like Ralph Walker's One Wall Street

Thinking positively, from the right angles, Nordstrom will reflect it! You can potentially have twin beauty Sterns standing side-by-side.

Wow. Just. Wow.

The only thing I don't like about this building is how stylistically, it completely blows 225w out of the water.

I'm less a fan of Stern than I was, but how can you not LOVE 15 Central Park West? I think unfortunately in this building's case, two things against it architecturally in my mind:

1) From my lay person's perspective it seems to copy almost verbatim 30 Park Place downtown. Lame (and I prefer 30 Park Place for a host of reasons)

2) The north-south angle is fine, even if it's a copy of 30 PP and has that traditional "Stern for the wealthy" look repeated time and time again. However, it is WAY too skinny from the east-west angle!! I don't like a tower this tall being so lopsided in dimensions.

My humble opinion.
