So this building came over my thought and proved yet thinner than the already skinny The Trump World Tower...

Yes and no. 432 Park has a footprint of 93' 6" by 93' 6" and a height of 1,398 ft, giving a slenderness ratio of 15. Trump World Tower is 145 ft by 78 ft, so it's actually skinnier in one direction. Taking its height of 861 ft gives a slenderness ratio of 11.

I believe the wood floor that is going down is floor 2. You can see the openings at the core for the elevators at that level. There is scaffolding in the lobby below that is the height of the 20' lobby.

This tower looks different every day I check this thread, and I can't think of any other project I can say that about.

Hi everyone!
I've been lurking in the forums for some months now and I'm ready to start posting I think -
I took a stroll through midtown today and have a few hi-res photos of the glorious core to share with you guys.

I also have a few detailed shots of the scaffolding and wood mess that's gone up so far if you're all interested in seeing them.
I'm lucky to be in this bursting city so expect more photos in the future!

Great shots RobEss!

Btw I just reread that New York Times arcticle back from October 2012...

Quote:

[...]penthouse on the 95th floor [...]
So it seems like this one will be markted as a 95- story tall tower. No surprise here really as other residential towers did the same thing...
