6X
Hanover
Avenue
Alexan
300 Colorado
Court House
That list is good. If we're going below 300' (i.e. courthouse) I would add the Hilton Garden Inn at 17th & Lavaca and Block 164.

But after the projects mentioned, the 17th & Guadalupe residential building is the only 300'+ project that should be starting within a few months.

Boy, that's a good question. So much stuff on our list is already UC. If you count the whole year, i think we'll likely see:

Symphony Square
Tower 5C
BBVA Motor Bank
Masonic Temple (by the end of the year? cross fingers?)

I bet that, overall, 2020 is going to be the year of big plans getting resolved/greenlit. All things that we could see in 2020:

Final Code Next vote
Airport master plan approval
Convention Center next steps
Statesman permitting, perhaps
Cap Metro high capacity line decisions
Project Catalyst next steps

Lots of major stuff percolating.

Let's get this list going.....I'm pumped for 2020 to see the top out of so many buildings. I'd say of your list the BBVA is a lock for 2021, then add the Hanover for 2021 as well.

The BBVA due to the fact that it is a bank and a developer, and Hanover because of their track record of getting shit done.

***Urban Core Downtown 2020-21 Start List***

Symphony Square (financing? anticipated start date?)
Tower 5C (financing? anticipated start date?)
BBVA Motor Bank (2021?)
Masonic Temple (financing? anticipated start date?)
Hanover on Brazos (2021?)

what other buildings do you all think have a better than 50% chance to start in 2020-21?....I'm not counting Hyatt on Congress (cause it's not their fault) or Hanover on 5th (I'll swing by this one later today to see if they started)...though I guess we could.

I think we actually may not see that many in 2020, and another push in 2021 like what we saw this year.

I'll venmo one of you guys $20 RIGHT NOW (not kidding) to photoshop all the u/c buildings and the "lock" buildings that we are 90% sure will start in the next 24 months. I'm know $20 is a drop in the bucket for the effort, but also pretty sure a few others will pitch in a fiver or a ten spot.....come on yall. I'm serious. I can't wait to see what the skyline will look like in 2025. I want to see it now. I'm thinking of the view from LBL with "the Sail" front and center, tall and proud. I'm gunna bump this thread everyday till Kev or ATX make me stop, or someone takes up the challenge. Love ya'll, mean it.

I wholeheartedly support your bumping.

And I pitch in an imaginary $100 to your photoshop fund. Hey, an imaginary dollar is better than no dollars right?!

Where is the post where someone rendered the proposed and U/C buildings on Google Maps? It would be great if it was re-posted in this thread

Are you sure you are ready to our mini Manhattan of the future? I mean really our lil' city skyline of the future. Will no doubt be an awesome sight. Might cause some hearts to start racing. Call the medics.

Save your money, I'm no expert. These are just kind of to scale so we can all get a little taste until someone better blows us out of the water.

I just arrived in Denver this morning. 14 hours straight.....how you like me now?

I was struck how sad I thought the downtown looked. I’ve not been skiing since 2012, and I always thought our skyline didn’t compete.

Not anymore baby!

Thanks Azul. I know the perspective is a little off but still, seeing Republic with this cluster of towers is quite something - the angles will really help it shine from certain views like no other building downtown. Gonna be really cool to see that one go up with all these others, hopefully.
