I didn't know that, thanks for letting me know. I wonder then, how putting someone's likeness on a building is different from putting it on currency. If it's forbidden to worship a human figure in Islam, I would assume this permanent portrait be frowned upon by the community. What is the local response, if any, to the design as it stands now?
