It will be close enough to feel like it's in reach from the observation deck before too long...

Several seconds

This photo was taken Saturday morning from here in the Rockaway's by me. You can see how 3's core is growing on the skyline. BY: NYMAN2010:

That moment when skyline presence becomes a real thing...

Seems like they have really picked up the pace recently with the steelwork, wish the cladding work would pick up also... the cladding on this building, so far, has looked terrific.

I'm really enjoying watching this building rise. The fact that the core is and has been so far ahead the perimeter steel, which itself is and has been so far ahead of the cladding, really gives an interesting perspective.

I wish this shot didn't have that getty marque blatantly out there. Maybe in the corner and higher res, but damn...

Can kinda make out WTC3. Leonard is obvious as is 432 and a couple of other developments like 612 first avenue.

Also URL in JC. I'd like this same shot, maybe a little back, in a resolution of 8mp or so and some sort of panorama showing DoBro, all of midtown, LIC, Lower, and JC in 2020.
