I saw a couple of interesting posts (with some supporting links) over at airliners.net regarding this..
Quote:
Provisional CAA statistics show that 6,762 passengers travelled in both directions between LHR and Austin in March.
The route launched as a five weekly service on Monday 3 March. Assuming 21 return flights between 3 and 31 March, that's an average of 161 passengers per flight. Based on 214 seats a flight that's a load factor of 75%.

Someone else posted a site to the U.S Customs and Border Protection website.

You can select Austin from the drop-down list, enter a date range, and click on "Create Report"
Note he last three columns on the report (Totals, Flights, Booths)
Totals show how many passengers were processed. The flight that arrives mid-morning with not very many passengers is the Aeromar flight from MEX. British Airways flight arrives in the late afternoon, and on the days it operates, AirTran's flight from Cancun arrives in the hour before the BA flight.
Flights show how many flights arrived during 60-minute periods. (It's usually just 1, but occasionally the AirTran flight from Cancun is late and arrives during the same hour as the BA flight from London, so the "Flights" column will show "2" instead of "1."
As an example, see the line for March 30, 2014 between 1500 & 1600 hours. Customs shows 295 passengers on 2 flights.
Then look at March 31, 2014
15 passengers were processed on a flight that arrived between 1000 - 1100 (Aeromar from MEX)
88 passengers were processed on a flight that arrived between 1500 - 1600 (AirTran from Cancun)
165 passengers were processed on a flight that arrived between 1600 - 1700 (British Airways from London)
Booths is the number of booths that were open to process the passengers during a given hour.
The report also gives average wait times and maximum wait times for passengers to be processed by Customs.
Obviously, this report only applies to arriving international passengers. Departing international passengers out of Austin don't clear customs here, they clear customs at their destination.
Hope that all made sense.
