Wow, those are great shots, and the Domino Sugar building looks amazing. But the way they did it is really confounding to me. The new glass volume has what looks like an 8-10 gap on all sides with the original brick facade of the old building, which I think would be a terrible experience for tenants of the floors behind that old facade. It will be like looking out your brand new floor-to-ceiling windows across the alley to a brick building with smaller windows. Curious as to why they didn't bring the volume of those floors closer to the original facade, even if the floor heights and windows don't line up.
