Hey, Mike, I've been waiting for you to take a pic of 500 CM like that. (Frist pic: The Front End Shot)
That is my favorite angle of the building. That view looks very NY, very skyscrapery.

Good Job! I like this building way more than I ever thought I would. I hope they adorn it with spectacular lighting as well. Wouldn't it be cool if Vader were outlined with lighting so one could see its silhouette at night. If fact, all of our high rises should be done up in lights.

It will be interesting to see if they have any special lighting treatments for 500CM. Can't wait to see. BrainSac your comments on vadar bring up a question. Early in the life of the building was vader ever lit? I don't think I have ever seen it. Thanks again for the shots innov8.

Thank you guys

BrianSac, that first shot is sweet, those white clouds rolling in really helped
the tower stand out and block out the sun.

arod, the Renaissance Tower never had any lighting, it would be interesting
to see for sure. Here's what the lighting will look like when done. Also, I posted
a few other 500CM photos here

I was able to make it down to 500 capitol mall, so I decided to snap a few off before I left. Photos were taken by myself on 2/23/09. Any tips anyone wants to throw at me about uploading images that would be much appreciated.

That's cool

I took this one from Arco last night. I noticed that CalSTRS has
signage on the top of the towers north side getting lit-up at night. I wonder
if Sac will reconsider letting towers have signage higher than the fourth floor?

Wow thats a VERY nice pic of the skyline, I would love to have one a bit closer centered on the skyline. Imagine is it was filled with skyscrapers all the way from the attenna on the far left to the calstrs building. We'd have one crazy looking downtown.

Hey innov8 do you mind if I used a cropped imagine of that pic for the Sacramento wiki? We have some really crappy pics on it.

From the looks of KCRA's downtown cam, the Federal Courthouse's crown is lit right now. Hopefully someone can get out there tonight and get some pics.

That would require a great deal of capital from a lot of capitalists. A dominant corporate skyline towering over the Valley floor would send shivers down your socialist spine.
