The GWCC website states that it will be 40 stories at a height of 463 feet.

The parking decks progressed slowly as all parking decks do, as they are very heavy and complex. But since then, the hotel section has been rising one floor each week.

A typical rough timeline for highrises is 6 months for site work, 6 months for the pedestal, and 6 months for the tower.

The speed of this one seems normal to me.

You complain about every building thinking it is slow to build. Maybe you just have unrealistic expectations...

Stick gets a big payday if this one is erected quickly and comes on the market.

I'm excited to see what the glass walls look like - they should be putting some in soon.

I have been enjoying the project webcams on my desktop. While the site prep and base work did take some time, the floors seem to be rising at a pretty good pace. From what I can tell it appears that they are adding a new floor approximately every two days.

I wonder if they are ever going to raise the crane, it looks like only four sections, which have been there over a week now???

You'll probably get your wish over the weekend. The four sections you mentioned are for the taller crane. Additional sections for the shorter crane are being delivered now, and are visible at ground level on the webcam.

And as for pace of construction, the hotel tower structure is rising at a rate of one floor per week. For a structure of this size, that's speedy.

I remember back years ago when they first proposed this hotel there was also talk of a side by side twin of sorts. Stil a possibility or has that been taken off the table?

I'm not exactly sure how to count the "floors" I'm seeing on the webcams, but it appears to me that it is roughly at the halfway point in height.
