Are there any plans for lighting on the crown?

New name for the tower - Madison Square Park Tower. And new sales agent Frederik Eklund:

https://www.instagram.com/p/BK0-flOj...redrikeklundny

fredrikeklundny: Sit down. Stop everything. Tell everyone around you to be quiet. Because you're with Fredrik now. It's you-and-me-time. And as the two old pals we are, I'm going to tell you a secret. Let me whisper it in your ear now 🤓

I'm taking over the sales of 45 East 22nd Street, the record breaking, gorgeous glass sculpture of 65 stories and 83 residences, right smack in the center of this photo. She's pretty, right? I've always been obsessed with her. I followed her rise when we used to live in One Madison right next door, I saw her incredible success and sales, I heard people buzzing. And today I see her everywhere I look, nearing completion. Towering over the others: the tallest residential building in Flatiron and Madison Park with the most dramatic views in the world, arguably. I can't WAIT to take you inside. You. Are. Going. To. Die. When. You. See. The. Views! The full floors start at $20.5M.

I really feel honored, truly. She's the ultimate project in the city I love and now she's in my hands. And I can't wait to show you what we are doing with her, what we will unveil. Very soon. Until then just remember this one address:
45 East 22nd Street, New York, New York.

Lots of love / Mr Sell

I love the shape of the crown, but wish they had made the parapet wall higher to hide more of the mechanical elements on the roof.

When is this building supposed to be fully completed? Appears they've been working on it for more than 2 years but seems still quite some ways off.

Maybe the complexity of the exterior and construction has something to do with it.

I Agree Absolutely . .

. . and what's the rooftop party-place atop that 27th St. building . .
Northwest of Madison Sq. Park ? . . notice all the colored lights . .
(see picture in Chris's post yesterday) . .

That is 230 5th Avenue, it's a really nice rooftop bar with amazing views of the ESB!

Right in the middle, background. IMO, if there is one tower that deserved to be taller, its this one. It has the design and modern grooviness to stand out at super tall status, and look clean, refreshing, and part of the 21st Century revolution.

This tower reminds me of the Shard in London. From some angles, you can see the resemblance, albeit much smaller.
