Not as bold structurally as 98 14th. The way the skin is handled will be different than most new apartment towers (apartment high-rises have the lowest construction budgets because the rental rates must be kept low to be competitive), but it is still a straight up/down building. Cannot say much more at this time...

Correct. I read somewhere another firm mentioned that they were working on Peachtree and 3rd. I can't remember which firm but they must be the one executing the ODA design. Unless there is another as yet unannounced project out there...

Oh I thought they were talking about a project that's been completely unannounced. Yeah, it's probably the Peachtree and 3rd tower then if that's the case.

Ha! You guys are good! Yes, we are collaborating with MSTSD on JPX's P3. ODA is the NYC architect. The second ODA building, Emerson, is a condo and is being AOR'd by Joy Trammell Rubio.

They're repaving 11th Street between Juniper and Piedmont. I was really hoping that, as part of this project, the sidewalk on the other side of 11th Street from Azure would be repaved as well. That sidewalk is seriously crumbling.

Any idea when the sidewalk will open? It looks complete.

It should open as soon as the hardware is installed in all the entry doors. The fence protects the building from unauthorised entry...

The kitchen is interesting. Never seen the sink right on the center island before.

I'd say most of the new construction I see, assuming they have an island, have the sink centered on the island.

Even somewhat older, in Metropolis my sink is in the center island, though there is a narrow wall on one end of the island.

Modern pipe venting systems that collect several fixtures to vent in one stack make this possible. This is crucial in high rises, as the vents have a long distance to reach the roof!

It is, up to level 15, and the low-rise and parking deck. They are still working on the upper floors, including the pool level and terrace level and the two retail spaces.
