I love the vintage aerials
FW. I've been trying to figure out the USCB site but haven't had much luck yet.

Thanks for your help
slufty! I remember the building when it was the Esprit store (1980s)
It had one of the most impressive retail interiors in the city (at that time).

"In 1983, the space was purchased by Doug and Susie Tompkins, owners of the popular San Francisco-based Esprit de Corp. clothing brand. The site was to become the company’s first freestanding retail store. The couple quickly began a $15-million, 15-month renovation of the building and hired famed designer Joseph D’Urso to carry it out. He remodeled both the interior and the exterior of the property and added a three-story, 150-space parking lot. The 32,000-square foot store, which became Esprit’s flagship, opened in December 1984."
*Esprit clothing was pretty expensive so mostly I just walked around and pretended to shop.
Martin_Pal researched the corner of Santa Monica Blvd. and La Cienega for a post back in 2013.
You can find it here:

It's an amazing post. Check it out. (and all the photographs have survived the recent purge)

slufty, I believe you meant to say the bus was on N. La Cienega, right? (or am I looking at it wrong?)
