CHARLOTTE | 615 South College | 19 floors | 261 feet

615 South College is a downtown Charlotte office tower to be completed in March 2017, next to Charlotte’s popular Westin Hotel. The construction cam is up. Looks like construction is imminent.

John Portman & Associates (JPA) has announced the grand opening of 615 South College in Uptown Charlotte. A celebration was held on Thursday, May 18, where Charlotte business leaders and commercial real estate professionals joined representatives of JPA to commemorate the occasion.

615 South College is a 19-story, 371,000-square-foot (34,000-square-meter) Class-AA office building that was built atop an existing parking garage. Visible from Interstate-277, the building features two-story balconies with views of downtown and South End Charlotte as well as an outdoor green space that connects the building to Stonewall Station, downtown Charlotte's first light rail stop. Surrounded by respected corporate neighbors including Duke Energy Center and several other large financial institutions, it is steps away from the city's professional sports arenas, parks, the Charlotte Convention Center, and the Portman-designed Westin Charlotte.
