My guess is someone told them to take down the drawings that were never supposed to be up in the first place.

As to why the links reverted to different projects, well that's just strange.

I know this is off topic but I was wondering if MR Donald Trump would ever invest here? I mean he's doing it in Vancouver, Toronto ...why not Montreal?

Martin's right, it is a sales office. Just a big ass one for TDC 2 and 3 and the other towers further south.

MONTREAL | Quad Windsor Mega Project | $2B investment.

I'm making a thread about Quad Windsor, the mega project currently going on in downtown Montreal. If all goes to plan, once the project is done within the next decade, the neighbourhood will be home to 6,000 new residents and 6,500 workers. The whole project should finish around 2025-2030. The pictures to be shown are the current proposals as it has changed quite a few times, in particular, 750 Peel. Public consultations still have to happen for 600 Peel as it'll require changes in height and density limits that the city has.

https://www.constructioncanada.net/b...eal-community/

Current Project

Complete
1. Tour Des Canadiens phase 1 (167m)
2. Deloitte Tower (135m)- 500K of Office Space

-Deloitte Tower with TDC2/cranes for TDC3

Source: https://the514lifeblog.wordpress.com...ber-15th-2018/

Currently U/C
1. TDC 2 (168m)-nearing completion
2. TDC 3 (168m)- five out of 55-floors complete

Source: https://the514lifeblog.wordpress.com...ber-15th-2018/

Future towers

1. 750 Peel- 2x23-floor office towers (current version)combined 1 million square feet of class A office space
2. 600 Peel-3x residential towers- includes condos, townhouses and shops/commercial space.

Are there any proposals for the "Lucien L'Allier-Torrance-Mountain-Saint Antoine" block? That's another empty lot that would be perfect for development.

Not the whole block, but where Lucien L'Allier metro is, there are 3 towers that are proposed to go up there. One where the Esso gas station is, one next to the metro and one where the milk bottle is. All towers are from 128-147.5m in height.

It already has and it's not even halfway done! but this mega project + all the towers rising around this area has transformed downtown tremendously. It's beautiful to witness honestly.

Absolutely! This part of downtown needed love and with all the developments in the past four years, not only is it a breath of fresh air but it also feels like a mini-Manhattan. With Quad Windsor, they're at building #4 out of nine total. The office buildings should be next but I wouldn't be surprised if they start with 600 Peel once they ask/are granted zoning changes. Those condo towers can be between 170-210 metres in height (guesses from different renders + overview at their sales office) but that area is zoned for 120 metres at the moment I believe. What scares me is the current city administration is pretty anti-development (even though a lot of projects have been announced, they still want to add foreign buyers taxes, etc..). So we'll see, but the market is piping hot in the city.

With all of the towers of Quad Windsor having their own threads (except for 600 Peel), I went ahead and merge the following two threads:

MONTREAL | 750 Peel | 30 FLOORS
MONTREAL | Quad Windsor Mega Project | $2B investment

Here's the other threads we already have for Quad Windsor:

MONTREAL | Tour Deloitte | 133 M / 436 FT | 26 FLOORS
MONTREAL | Tour des Canadiens | 165 M / 541 FT | 50 FLOORS
MONTREAL | Tour des Canadiens 2 | 166 M / 545 FT | 53 FLOORS
MONTREAL | Tour Des Canadiens 3 | 168 M / 551 FT | 53 FLOORS

In a LaPresse article, it mentions that 600 Peel will consist of 2,000 rental and condo units. Not sure about the height of the buildings though, since they need a waiver and public consultation to increase building heights on this lot. So at the moment, it'll probably be 3x 120 metres sadly.
