Wait it minutes! I seeing the elevator construction is going down. Can you see it? I saw a video.

Great shots, I would have to say those are medium format digital, incredible life to those photos with amazing sharpness and color. Wow.

Grabbed a shot of the parapet lighting test, this evening:

and check out the snazzy "runway" effect planned for the vehicular entrance:

LIC is going to fill in so much. Might see some shadows from the One Court Square tower to the coast in 5 years.

Pretty neat how Ingel's Pyramid is so noticeable form that height.

I'm hoping those LIC railroads get covered up. There will be another HY after phase 2 is finished. Question is where? Well, those Sunnyside rails look pretty good.

My jaw dropped at the last to pics! 432 Park is so dominating, and to think up my block out here in Rockaway I can also see it very well, and from certain blocks here looking at at Mid-town it really shows it's height, great pics!

That would be a dream!! I've thought about it myself a few times, and think there was even a proposal for a while. If they were to be covered the project would make HY look like a small office park.

The city planning department has been studying this for the last few years, and Amtrak and the MTA are eager to sell the air rights.

It will happen at some point, probably sooner rather than later. And, yeah, it will make HY seem like a minor project; a footnote in NYC's development cycle.
