Of course they'd rather have a bigger subway to serve their downtown area but anyway, their light rail embellishment looks very nice to me. We can't afford that kind of pavement in the foreground of the picture above where light rail trains run over here yet. It's likely too tedious and expensive to lay on a long stretch. And still, style and generosity are much in significant details like this.
