Was chatting with one of the workers last week. He mentioned that crane time was a bottleneck for them and that they schedule shifts accordingly.

Thankfully it does not appear to be serious.

Pretty sure you can make out the edge of the building/plaza for the south tower. Curved, jagged line running diagonally from the tree wells through to the parkade ramp.

I am always amazed at all the rebar in these slab pours. Barely looks like there is any room for concrete.

I have been reading recently about the Peterborough lift lock, it was reportedly one of the largest structures built out of unreinforced concrete at the time. Steel reinforcing had been invented but engineers were wary of it.

It looks like they are working 7 days a week on the Project. I had a Sunday day shift and there was a crew doing rebar and I have overnights for the rest of the week and saw a small number (8-10) of workers on site all night.

Elevator core formwork now up onto the second level.

Does anyone know if image hosting services downgrade quality? Those images look like crap compared to the ones I have on the PC. Especially when zooming, detail is lost.

Sometimes the host will re-size the images to fit thier particular format which would effect the quality of the image. Otherwise the only other factor is the quality of the image taken, camera's pixel quality etc..

Nice pics by the way, progressing at quite the pace, good to see.

A couple of 4 AM shots of the site

Its quiet tonight with the number of people working compared to the stuff going on over the last few overnight shifts I have been working. I think they only were there until around midnight. Don't even see any movement in the laydown lot across the street.

On Tuesday you could see the flashing beacons from the JLG lifts and the bobcats moving stuff around.

From the progress on site, looks like they've been moving quite fast lately. Maybe need a break. Also looks like they're getting ready for the concrete pour where all the tarps are.

Edit: Oh they're doing the pour right now haha about 30 guys out there. Must have took the night off for the this.
