Anyone go to the Kayne show last night? It's just so him to be on a stage floating above the common people!
But it meant another busy downtown last night, so can't quibble with that.

It would be interesting to see the bar at the Alberta Hotel be branded along the lines of "Sisters of Mercy".

I'm not even a country fan but Garth Brooks is a whole other level as far as being big-time stars go. The fact that he hasn't been here in over two decades also makes this a pretty hot ticket. Wouldn't be surprised if they added a show or two.

Guns N Roses announce Edmonton tour stop this summer

The hair metal legends will be playing Commonwealth Stadium on Aug. 30.

Don't cry if you missed the recently reunited Guns N Roses on their Not In This Lifetime Tour, because the hair metal legends are heading back out on the road with a stop in Edmonton.

The Gunners will be playing Commonwealth Stadium on August 30.

The band’s new dates are a sequel of sorts to a massively successful North American summer tour that racked up more than $116M in ticket sales.

The new tour kicks off at Dublin’s Slane Castle on May 27 before taking the band through Europe into the summer. The North American leg opens up in St. Louis on July 27 before wrapping up in San Antonio on Sept. 8.

The other Canadian dates are Montreal on Aug. 19, Ottawa on Aug 21, Winnipeg on Aug. 24, Regina on Aug. 27, and Vancouver on Sept. 1.

Tickets for Canadian dates go on sale Friday, Dec. 9.

Hopefully they play Rocket Queen.

Too little enforcement of the laws regarding smoking & illegal drugs for my liking. Bon Jovi was the last of the three I've attended there, and never again.
