533 feet. That's pretty sweet. That makes it the tallest residential in Houston I believe, and I guess 4th in the state.

If the view isn't enough, there are the washer-dryers:

Love this building, but I'm not too fond of its location.

I would just prefer for such a beautiful tower to be contributing to the skyline, not being all by itself. Lone towers just don't really appeal to me.

This one's not entirely alone. And as the Anadarko Towers have proved, if you start with one, others will follow.

Actually, this really does add to the skyline on the whole. Just think of the wide shot pictures that pop up on here every now and then. And we are not the only city in the US with lone tower syndrome.

This.

When I was shooting from a parking garage just off Kirby a few months back, it seemed to blend in quite well as part of the fringe of the Greenway Plaza cluster, and mixed pretty well with the Uptown skyline - appearing on it's front door step.

It actually seems to balance Transco scale-wise with the "shorter" Marathon Tower and San Felipe Plaza at that distance and from that view. In reality, both of the office towers mentioned are a fair amount taller than this residential tower.

Next time I'm in town, I'd love to try and shoot from some of the garages I've used in the TMC and near Rice to see how it works from that perspective.
