Guys.... don't feed the Trolls... They'll eventually wither away...

In the meanwhile, I'm pleasantly surprised with how well the base glass cladding is turning out! I wasn't sure how I'd feel with the juxtaposition between the tower proper and the base, however it has surpassed my expectations.

Amazing shot - just awesome. 4 WTC looks amazing - and you are right the base glass 1 WTC looks classic. One of the most dramatic shot of the ensemble so far.

Oh my god. This is absolutely breathtaking. Now imagine the four shiny little diamonds of 2 WTC and you'll see how gorgeous this will be once complete....

I agree. My favorite picture so far. 4 WTC has been my big surprise. IMO the real thing is much better looking than the renderings. The great news with 3 WTC going up now, is everyone can see how amazing this new WTC looks. And I just love how reflective it is. With the older buildings around it, the new WTC buildings not only stand out, but does such an amazing job of reflection the sacred ground of the original twins. Well done everyone. And everyone who post these amazing pics everyday never gets enough credit. So thank you!

Absolutely breathtaking. The opened base fins appear to me as a reflection of the former north tower, as if it's actually there.

This tower is truly becoming an awesome figure in the Manhattan skyline. Does anybody know if they are going to incorporate the "tribute in lights" with the memorial pools?

It almost has a John Hancock Tower sort of look in that last picture.

I have often pointed that out. Numerous times in fact. The John Hancock tower is a nice building. A slightly bigger version, this is, somewhat. A decent replacement. It'll be even better when the others are built.
