Winnipeg’s mac and cheese coloured Clarion Hotel is quite ugly.
What makes this even worse is the fact that it was originally built as an elegant mid-century modern office building before it was reclad sometime in the early 2000s.
^That's how that Venetian-esque seniors home in Regina started as well. Mid-century office/industrial and then they did, I won't post it again here.

This is so horrific. My only solace is that they (the property owner) never got the chance to build balls on either side of the Calgary tower. Probably the only good thing to come from this recession.

I already wasn’t the biggest One Paliser fan but I could see the appeal, this is horrendous.
There's nothing particularly wrong with the first one if that's your thing, it just isn't mine. I find houses like that, and their related wasteful estates, incredibly garish.
