The more I see of this building, the more I like it. Not just another tower - but a really transformative project for downtown.

Reminds me in a way of Asian cities. Not to the same extent, of course, but it's a lot of cranes.

The design has seemed to me sort of strange, but the finished product could be pretty nice.

That first picture looks like construction in an Asian country. Wild.

Looking at that pic with all the cranes, I never realized Austin had that kind of demand.

They're currently building more new multifamily units per capita than any other US city.

Really liking the cladding on this one and love the obvious reference to UT colors. Turning out better than I anticipated so far, though I still think the overall massing and compositional flow is awkward on it's best days.

I wonder if people in Austin are aware that this would be the tallest building in Texas, or a supertall.

Most people probably don't because they just don't care about this stuff like we do.

Probably the first building since the Austonian, or maybe even since Frost, to be worthy of the title of the city's tallest building.

It’s not receiving enough attention as it deserves. No report on it from The B1M, overshadowed by Miami’s supertall.

At different levels in this building there are columns which veer off in weird diagonals. They look unnecessary and haphazard to me.

What's up with them? I find it hard to believe they were necessary.
