Still only 81 cents in the community of Lanark, Ontario. I saw 80 yesterday in Carleton Place.

Over the past week, Carleton Place has been several cents cheaper than Smiths Falls, Perth, and Ottawa (not counting Costco).

Yippe! I have a hybrid car so I don't often fill up my car, probably every 6 weeks. Think the last time I did was before Christmas.

Anyways it cost $30 on the dot to fill up my car this morning. Normally it's about $52-54. Happy Dance!!!

Last night was Tuesday night, so like clockwork gas stations throughout Ontario all increased. 89 cents is about as cheap as it gets.

If it's like last week, some stations will be back down by tonight.

Gas is 80.7 in Alliston, ON as of Wednesday morning. They've been falling all week.

I got my gas at 80.2 at Shell this morning. For some reason it's the cheapest, probably because it's near Costco gas station. Drive 10 minutes away and I noticed it's 90 something.

The GasBuddy Gas Price Heat Map is showing a lot of variance around Southern Ontario today, with higher prices in Ottawa, Kingston, Toronto, Hamilton and London, with low prices in some other areas such as Peterborough and Brockville.

Big drop at my local esso in Montreal today - from 99 to 94.7

94.7 ! Mini line-ups of course, as most of our brains are subconsciously thinking 'it can't be possibly ever be lower than this'.

What?

The mafia simply don't want to put it below a dollar for more than a few hours. For the third straight week, it went from 99.9 to 109.4 overnight.

88.4 in Gatineau last night. Did not notice if it went up this morning.

We get a gas tax break from the Quebec government in order for our gas stations to stay alive and compete with the ones in Ottawa. It's still usually cheaper in Ottawa but not usually worth it to go there just for gas.

97.9 on the east end of the city, probably closer to 99 cents everywhere else.
