A bit off topic, this was a February evening's drive . . . all over. Southside, downtown, midtown, Central West End . . . and half my nickname. Okay, it's a concerto for piano and strings, not technically a symphony. But it's symphonic enough in many ways. Yep. I write symphonies. (And poems. And people even hear the poems once in a while.)
And I think there was a discussion of treasures. The main library isn't the only building in town with secret doors, it seems. And . . . I seem to have learned a secret handshake.
I was running around in the suburbs, so I hoped on Metrolink . . .
And rode up to the airport. Struck me as an omission that I didn't have any good shots from inside the terminal. Just . . . haven't taken many pictures there when I've flown. And it's a place of many memories, so that needed fixing. The place has been something of a temple to me since I was a small child meeting my father after business trips or my grandparents after vacations. And now that I've started galavanting about aerially more regularly myself it's quite strange that I never bothered to take pictures there. I guess I was always just too excited. But today I was just visiting during a pleasant Monday evening lull. (The main terminal has been pretty quiet since TWA folded, but this is at least a little artificial anyway.)

I do hope this sticks around a while and isn't shuffled off in the newest re-branding event.
