This project is being built next to White Oak Bayou; was design to withstand flooding if the waterway ever overflowed - that happened the evening of Memorial Day. The first level is not for parking; the first level of living units begins on the fifth floor.

I believe so. Want to say about a month ago is when the first set of tenants moved in.

Luxury apartments open in the Heights

Quote:
South Carolina-based Greystar announced on Oct. 31 that its Elan Heights apartment community has opened.

The 326-unit community is at 825 Usener St., just north of the Taylor Street exit of Interstate 10. The construction on the project, which includes seven floors of apartments, is nearing completion.

Are those penthouses?

No penthouses, that's where the amenities are located.
