^ In an ideal world, that Bell centre would be turned into a giant rooftop garden/agriculture space. Or why not even a rooftop public square...with dare I say the new Place des canadiens. Right now it's just a big empty canvas, and a terrible ilot de chaleur.

Btw, where is the new hans place going to be (re)built? Or has that been scraped all together?

You mean the place with all the bricks and Statues?

It is meant to be incorporated in the spot in the middle of the Windsor, Deloitte and Bell Center, when Deloitte is done.

Nope, there is still the triangular crown to be installed on top.

Oh, I like how this will partially hide the 1001. It makes the area much more dense.

That gap will disappear once the 750 Peel goes up. When it does, the view down Stanley will be very imposing. Thanks for the shots.

By the way, a great big THANK YOU/MERCI to all who post beautiful photos of all these new amazing projects, nice to see the progress. It's been so long since MAJOR buildings went up, like the BCE and IBM ones back in the early nineties and i guess we didn't have computer sites to check up on way back then. Now that Deloite is almost completely UP, we have Roccabella and Tour des Canadiens finally above ground, now i guess Icone and Avenue are next.

This thing looks just awful from Rene Levesque ,you get the impression that they ran out of money and decided to stop at 26 floors (it's a real chubby porker)

The triangular crown should make it look significantly better from RL
I agree that it's shorter than I would have liked but I still think it's a great addition nonetheless.
