One Manhattan Square, and the other tall new ones . .
will actually make all that old red brick stretching for blocks & blocks . .

In Manhattan, it’s getting harder and harder to build stand-out skyscrapers that present most occupants with far-reaching views. I gotta say, I was highly skeptical that the attempt to create contrast by using tinted glass on the sides and visual interest on the main faces with some faceted windows would have the desired effect. However, many of these recent photos clearly show it's coming across in a big way. This and the JDS building next door with its green terra cotta will not only have new impact on the skyline but become instant fixtures and landmarks.
