Drove by this today. Very apparent from the Williamsburg Entrance in Brooklyn. Almost feels part of Flatbush depending on the view. It'll be epic once the other LES towers rise.

thank God these new glass towers will eclipse . .
that vast swath of soviet-style project towers . .
in the vacinity of the bridge . . all that red boring brick sameness . .
One Manhattan Square, and the other tall new ones . .
will actually make all that old red brick stretching for blocks & blocks . .
look much better . .

Extell's One Manhattan Square Gets its Glass On, LES Domination Well Underway
January 24, 2017
Quote:
In Manhattan, it’s getting harder and harder to build stand-out skyscrapers that present most occupants with far-reaching views. With zoning in many neighborhoods calling for “contextual” heights, and with the city’s high-rise districts bursting with ever-taller towers, it has become an expensive proposition for developers to build towers that offer residents more than a view into the building next door.

Love the bridge shots, and the view of LIC. Two of my NYC passions, the skyscrapers and the bridges. It all comes together here.

When this is complete, there'll be selfies and love on the bridge for everyone.
